SEND

At Stapleford Abbotts Primary Academy we have high expectations of all our children and work to ensure that every child, whatever their background, receives a high quality education. We want all our children to feel that they are a valued part of our school community and our overriding aim is that children who are most in need will have barriers removed and needs fully supported.

We firmly believe in developing a strong partnership with parents/carers and that this will enable children and young people with SEND to achieve their full potential. The school recognises that parents/carers have a unique overview of their child's needs and how best to support them, and that this gives them a key role in the partnership. Parents/carers hold key information and have a critical role to play in their children's education.

Our vision and ambition is for a community of learners who share the mindset of success and are driven by the prospect of opportunity for all.  We strive to provide an environment of aspiration, respect and openness, enabling staff and students to thrive.

Our Academy values are a Shared Voice, Shared belief and Shared Success.
