From 8.30-8.55am we open our turning circle within the Community Hall car park situated next door to the school.  Our turning circle operates effectively to allow parents to drop-off their child/ren safely away from the main Stapleford Road.  Each morning, staff await the arrival of our parent's cars, open the doors and safely lead the children into the playground which is supervised by staff.   For the safety of our children and families we discourage parents from parking on the main road and to use the car park and turning circle instead. 

Acorns Preschool

Parents of our youngest children do not use the turning circle in the morning but instead come in from the front entrance to the school to greet the Preschool team in the morning.  If a child has an older sibling at the school they can however use the turning circle and join their brother or sister in the playground until 8.45am.   

End of day arrangements

Parents collect children from Acorns Preschool at 3pm from the main entrance and Willow and Cherry class are also dismissed at 3pm from the Key Stage 1 entrance at the front of the school.  Sycamore, Silver Birch and Oak classes (KS2) finish at 3.15pm and are to be collected from their class doors via the main playground. 

Parents are encouraged to park in the Community Hall car park first but if there is not a space to park safely on the main road.  Due to it being a busy road, we ask parents to pick up children quickly to avoid unnecessary congestion on the road.  TKAT are due to resurface and extend the car park in 2023/2024 to allow for more parking for our school community.
